If I hired you and placed a requirement on you to bake me 300 cakes and provided not one oven, baking pan, nor a single ingredient, I have at that moment neglected to enable you to complete that which is required of you. If I required you to complete a series of calculations without providing you the necessary insight on the process that leads to the solutions, then I have yet again failed to enable you. How magnificently thankful are we that our Heavenly Father does not move that way. Whatever He requires of us he enables us to complete it; and He does it by first accomplishing it towards us and in us.
The Apostle Paul communicates it best in his second letter to the Corinthians:
“Blessed, gratefully praised and adored be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. Who comforts and encourages us in every trouble so that we will be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God”—2 Corinthians 1:3,4 AMP.
If you have need to comfort someone, comfort them the way God comforts you. If you need to encourage or inspire someone, encourage and inspire them the way God does for you. Do you know someone who is sad, financially stressed, bombarded with anxiety? Lift them up in the same manner that God has lifted you. This allows us to manifest and apply those wonderful fruits of the spirit that are mentioned in Galatians chapter 5. There are many ways we can live our daily lives when it comes to relating to others, but only one that yields the most beneficial outcome. You can choose the world’s way, but I encourage you to do it this way. This has been a gentle reminder.
Be Blessed
